We love to photograph celebrations. We approach them with verve and a sympathetic eye. Our aim is not to take over your day, but to quietly document it, almost from the perspective of a guest. We will of course produce “formals” at your request, however it is the documentary style that we feel separates us from most other wedding photographers. In fact, we don’t see ourselves as wedding photographers at all – we’re just excellent photographers who will shoot your wedding or civil partnership!
With special occasions, we never shoot with just one photographer, always two and more if required. The man and wife balance of our team provides a great perspective on your day, with each concentrating on one side of the goings on – while Karl will concentrate on capturing the story, Lou will concentrate on the context – the little details like the reaction of a bridesmaid, or the tearful mother in law, perhaps the bride’s face while the groom is saying his vows.
We time stamp all of the work so we can roll out a story of your day in the order that it happened. We’ll often split up so one of us can catch the bride preparing while the other goes to the boys. We’ll take 100s, even 1000s of images to make sure we can tell your story the way you want it to be told.
All of our weddings and civil partnerships are entirely bespoke – we do not offer packages. Our prices generally range from between £1700 – £4000 depending on requirements. We are happy to travel and have photographed weddings as far afield as Southern Italy. Please feel free to contact us for some guide prices and ideas. We don’t bite and there’s absolutely no hard sell. A wedding photographer should be someone you can trust and engage with – with us, that’s the guiding principle from first contact to delivery of your photographs.
